Captain America to Return to Theaters May 6, 2016

I know it's not a real suprise :P but Marvel just confirmed Captain America 3.



Following the record-breaking premiere of Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" this past weekend, the First Avenger will jump into his next big screen solo adventure in just a little more than two years on May 6, 2016!

Before the untitled "Captain America 3" hits theaters, though, fans can next see Cap when he joins the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes once more in Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" on May 1, 2015!

And I love how people on ONTD are counting down till the day the Cap wave has died down so that DC or WB can announce that they are pushing their Batman vs. Superman movie out of May 2016^^

I don't even understand why they need to do a Superman vs Batman movie at all.
Man of Steel was okay but not that good that they need to recast Batman (Christian Bale IS Batman not Affleck XD ).
But on the other hand i'm really curious how this movie takes a stand against Cap 3.
I'm beting on Cap. <333

Yeah I don't know why they thought a new Batman is what they need. They don't get that they should make us really root for the new Superman first (because as much as I like to look at Henry Cavill I am pretty indifferent to Superman so far). I like that they are trying it with Wonder Woman, but I'd rather have a movie just with her and Superman, because with the two guys she will not be as important in the movie as she should be.

Me too, Marvel is just winning over DC when it comes to the movies right now. They just have a way better plan of bringing more unknown characters to the table *cough* Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant Man, possibly Dr. Strange now that his name came up in WS *cough* which makes it way more interesting. We all know Batman, there won't be anything new to him expect that he meets Superman now.
Also I think it's just stupid to get a new Batman lke 3/4 years after TDKR. Christian Bale is still too much in peoples had as Batman. And it's not like they'll loose the rights to him and have to include him therefor.

And i agree with you... i really like Cavill but i don't get the "I'm superman" vibe from him.

Yes, went with one of the flatmates and a friend. I'm still on the fence about it. It was definitly too long and they have to step it up with the story in the next one, because I think in the end that was a bit weak. Images were great though, kudos to the cinematographer.

It's so weird right, he totally looks the part but doesn't feel like it yet.

I don't think I did^^ I mean I know movie release dates are set till 2016, but damn Kevin Feige has some plans there! I hope he doesn't get stuck though and with more movies gives the variety that fans want (like solo female hero, POC hero and I'm sure they can make a LGBT(Q? never know if I have all the reight letters) hero as well). Cause if they do that good they win on all fronts and DC can pack it up for a long timeXD

Yeah it was too soon. They should rather try and introduce unknown heros to the wider audience instead of milking the two heros with name recognition.
